To be sure your hike will be successful, here are some useful tips if you are coming from abroad.
Food & Shops
There is no need to send packages before you go unles you need special food/diet etc. The cost of sending will be much higher than buying along the way plus you support the local shops.
Besides, and from my own experience, you must take in consideration the waste of time it will take to fetch packages/wait for people to get it for you. Some places will even charge you for handling it.
Besides #2: even when you sat at home and counted on what you eventually would need it´s not sure that will be the case once you end up in the mountains.
There will be “real” shops along the way – except between Kvikkjokk and Abisko and Abisko – Treriksröset. From Kvikkjokk Via Suecia follows the Padjelanta Trail where there are STF and BDL (Badjelannda Laponia Turism) huts along the way. Many sell food.
From Abisko to Treriksröset there are two Swedish huts (Pålnostugan and Pältsastugan) and the rest are Norwegian huts*. You can buy food in some huts. Please remember to bring cash.
*The Norwegian huts require a key OR a special key. Read more here.
Fuel for your stove
If you are using a Trangia or other alcohol-based burner Rödsprit or T-Röd is useful. This can be bought in many petrol stations and bigger supermarkets. Trangia has a very useful fuel list here.

If you are using a camping gas stove, the standard connection is normal threads. Gas canisters can be bought in most sport shops along Via Suecia and in some gas stations. If in doubt, use a multifuel stove and you’ll be ok.
